DENISE was born in Texas and came back to the state to attend college after living and traveling extensively overseas. About 13 years ago Denise moved to the hill country and found this an animal lover’s paradise. Her love of animals which began at an early age has led her to start this business.
DENISE obtained an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology, and then passed state and national boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician, L.V.T, in the state of Texas. Because she always wanted to work in the Veterinary field she earned a B.S. in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M and a Masters in Education at U of H..
DENISE began pet sitting at an early age for friends and neighbors of her parents. Overseas, in junior high, she was afforded the opportunity to volunteer at a Veterinary Clinic where she observed various procedures performed by Veterinarians on animals ranging from dogs and cats to falcons and horses. In Texas she has worked in veterinary clinics for 15+ years after graduating with her first degree. Denise has worked in small and mixed animal practices; animal health insurance and as a surgery technician for a veterinary ophthalmologist. Her last position was as an employee of Aww Paws.
DENISE, due to her specialization, chose to start her own business. She is available to care for your pets with daily visits or in medical cases overnight care. As an L.V.T, Denise has distinctive education, training and experience caring for animals; particularly for those that need special medical attention. She definitely can provide nursing care for any pet while you are away. You can have peace of mind that your pet will get the most professional care possible.
DENISE takes great pride in caring for animals and is ready to care with love and much training and experience for your special pet. J
